Glossary (includes light spoilers?)

I was wondering if this was needed, so I tried writing only the parts where my original settings feel like they stand out.
This contains some light spoilers, so read with caution?
Will update from time to time.

[Job, Skill related]

[God’s Eye]

  • The strongest appraisal skill. Impossible to get naturally.
For the time being, it sees through all lies, can understand all structures, and is a cheat in many ways.
Currently the only possessor is our protagonist, Yuri.

Seeker

  • The highest level appraisal type Job. Possible to obtain if you possess [God’s Eye].
It surpasses not just the appraisal types but also the crafting types, so it also applies a correction to those.
This treatment is somehow like that of God’s messenger. Currently only Yuri possesses it.

Authenticator

  • A superior ranked Job of the appraisal types. Possible to obtain if you possess [Magic Eye].
It displays superiority to crafting similar to Seeker. A lower rank than Seeker.
Currently Seeker hasn’t been confirmed, so Authenticator is treated as the highest rank.

[Magic Eye]

  • A high ranking appraisal type Skill. [Magic Eye] holders can tell recognize each other by the rainbow pupils.
It’s not to the degree of [God’s Eye], but they have the ability to see through to the truth that’s far beyond appraisal.
The ability relies on the iris, so the ability will be effected if the eyeball is damaged. (Not many people know)

It’s relatively easy for them to intermingle with humans, so there are a lot of half beastmen. There are half beastmen with the ears and tails, as well as half beastmen without.

Bahamun (dragon race)

  • Having both a human form and a dragon form, it’s a combat race. Both forms boast overwhelming combat abilities. They are long lived and can easily live up to four digits.
A lot of them pretend to be human, since there are many bloody adventurers aiming for dragon materials.
It’s said that they were originally just dragons, but as a result of humanification in order to make their lifestyle easier, the dragons that had such a disposition split off into a different race.

Halfling

  • A race that is the size of a human child even after growing up. Dexterous fingers. Their lifespan is roughly 50 years.

Also, matures quickly since they’re lifespan isn’t very long. Once you turn 10, you’re treated as independent.

Featherkin

  • Their physical abilities aren’t much different from humans, but they are a winged race with wings coming from their backs. It’s possible for them to put out and pull in their wings. Their lifespan is roughly 300 years.
Since they have a long life, their actual ages can be calculated as being somewhere around 3 times what they look like. Their eyesight is good, so there are a lot of archers.
There are many of them, male and female, who are slender and delicate beauties. Since many of them have white winges, their pictures and the like sell well.

Their lifespans are long, and you can’t tell their age at all by appearance. However, once they reach of age, almost all of them have shaggy beards. Male and female both.

Lodgings here and meals at Sunbeams, dividing the labour perfectly. The one managing it is Darius’ wife.

Food Paradise

  • A famous, large restaurant that even great merchants and nobles visit. The price reflects it. It sells delicious food made by those with the Chef Job.
Later on, the sweets made by Lucia, the youngest daughter who woke to being a patissier, became a large draw.

[Others]

Magic Item

  • Implements that twist the laws of physics in all sorts of ways, giving many mysterious results that can’t be understood.
The results look like magic, so they’re called magic items. The most famous one is the magic bag.

By using each attribute of magic stones, you can make useful tools. The most famous is the refrigerator.
